Sustainable energy

Sustainable energy means:
-
Access for all to affordable, clean, efficient and renewable energy.
-
Supporting the rights of workers throughout energy production and transmission.
-
Democratic control of energy production, with local communities in control of locally produced and supplied energy sources.
-
Reducing energy usage, energy waste, and increasing efficiency to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Energy contributes to over 80% of UK greenhouse gas emissions.
-
Ensuring energy production conserves natural resources, and protects ecosystems.
